Aimé Perret (French, 1847-1927). Aimé Perret was born in Lyon, France, on October 30th 1847 to Perret Benoist and Marguerite Phillipine Perron, who were local Lyon traders. Perret is best known for his startling paintings of French peasant life, and was influenced by the paintings of French master painter Jules Breton, and in his later years by Neo-Impressionist founder Georges-Pierre Seurat.
